The young Spartan Girls’ Golf team battled challenging weather conditions and tough golf courses throughout the season to gain valuable experience for the future. The Spartans finished fourth in the City, Conference and Districts. The Spartans were led by returning letter winners Junior Shelby Glenn and Sophomore Caroline Startzer during the season. Caroline qualified for state by finishing fifth at Districts. Caroline improved her personal best at Norfolk on the second day of the tournament. With the entire team returning next year, expectations will be high.
