Varsity
Our season began with a roster of 5 freshmen, 5 sophomores, 3 juniors and 4 Seniors
The season was a gradual progression of improvement throughout the year highlighted by a huge win on Senior Day against Lincoln Southeast as well as a Runner Up finish in Districts. Morgan Essman tied a State Record for doubles in a game with 4 and until the District Tournament Lyndsey Crist was tied for the Record of Home Runs in a season with 15. Lyndsey Crist set a school record for Home Runs in a season with 15 as well as Home Runs in a Career with 20. We started all 5 of our freshmen at one point in time or another, often all together.

Other records set this year was Career Runs Scored by Lyndsey Crist with 139 as well as a Season Record of 51 Runs Scored this year. Danelle Snyder set a Season Record for Runs Batted In with 41 this year. Our team established the 2nd highest Batting Average in school history with an average of .346.

The players from this years team established the foundation for next year and the goal is to progress even further in the upcoming seasons.

Reserve
Reserve softball had a very successful 2014 season. We finished the season just under .500 but ended the season on a very positive note by winning both games in the season ending tournament at Doris Bair. Those wins were against Fremont and LSE.
The reserve team was comprised of 11 freshman and 2 sophomores. This was the most freshman on the roster in recent years.

Junior Varsity
The JV softball team had an exciting season going 10 and 12 with big wins over Papio (8 – 7) and LSE (7 -6). The girls finished 2nd at the Kearney Tournament and finishing 3rd in the City Tournament. The JV team was comprised of 6 freshman, 1 sophomore and 4 juniors.
